1-Day Mikumi National Park to Tanzania Southern Circuit

Your adventure begins early, around 5:00am, when you will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar. From there, you will fly from Zanzibar International Airport to Kikoboga Airstrip and start your journey to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, you will stop at Camp Bastian for a delicious lunch before continuing your game drive in the park.

Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth-largest park, covering 3,230km² (1,247mi²), and is nestled between the Uluguru and Lumango Mountains. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including buffalo, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, pythons and crocodiles. Mikumi is part of the southern wildlife circuit and serves as a gateway to other parks in the region.

You will enjoy 4 to 5 hours of game driving through the park before returning to Kikoboga Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
