2 travelers on Start dateArusha Town to Tarangire National Park for Game Drive
Pick up from the agreed point in Arusha and depart with your picnic lunch for an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park has numerous baobab trees that will primarily catch your attention. The Park derived its name from the Tarangire River, which rises in the highlands of Central Tanzania and winds its way through the game sanctuary. The river beguilingly lures the herds of plains migrants from the desiccated surrounding area to its shrunken – but permanent – brackish waters during the dry season. During the dry season, the Tarangire pools are clotted with thirsty migrants, and the elephants begin to dig for underground streams in the dry riverbed. Tarangire National Park is said to have the highest recorded number of breeding bird species for any habitat in the world.

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, Route to Serengeti via the historic site of Olduvai Gorge (The Cradle of Mankind), where the world-famous archaeologist Dr Leakey discovered the remains of the early man; after visiting the site and the small museum there, you will drive to the north of Oldupai where the remarkable shifting sand also known as black dune, composed of volcanic ash from Oldonyo Lengai, is being blown slowly westwards across the plains, at the rate of about 17 meters per year.
Some 9 meters high and 100 meters long in its curve. This is an impressive and fascinating experience that occurs throughout the year and something to see if you have a chance to visit Ngorongoro. Morning game drive at North Serenegeti Drive to Center Serengeti with Game on Route
Early breakfast, then leave with your lunch box far north of the Serengeti Park at Mara River with the game on the route. In August and September, you can see the herds spread out across the northern Serengeti, where the Mara River provides the migration with its most serious obstacle.
This river gushes north of Serengeti from Kenya’s adjacent Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Watching the frantic herds of the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River can be spectacular; there are often scenes of great panic and confusion. It’s common to see herds cross the Mara River north one day and then back south a few days later.

On this day, you will be picked up early at 5:00 am and transferred to where the Balloon safari will depart in Serengeti. There, you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. You take off at dawn, rising as the sun rises and gliding in whichever dawn, rising as the sun rises and gliding in whichever direction the morning winds take you.
Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. At other times, he will ascend to 1000′ or more to see the enormous panorama of Serengeti.
The pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners from time to time. Apart from the natural sounds below, there is total silence between these burns. Breakfast will be served in the bush under the Acacia tree shade.
