Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Your safari start with pick up from the hotel in zanzibar and drive to Zanzibar Airport to catch small plane to Arusha airport, Up on arrival at arusha airport you will meet your guide and start your beutiful journey to Tarangire National Park with your packed lunch box.

Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. It's possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After a full day in the park, you will drive to Manyara serena Lodge where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and have an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive up the Serengeti plains, stopping at the plains for a spectacular view of the variety wild animals. Continuing as far as the eyes can see is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plain" and this 6900 square miles (18000 square kilometres) park is inhabited by more than two million wildebeest. January to April is the season when wildebeest give birth to their calves as hundreds of thousands of plain zebras and Thomson's gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrate throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. After the game drive, you will drive to Serengeti Serena Safari lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, you'll embark on another exciting round of game drives, discovering new areas of the Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the serene landscape and wildlife. Following lunch, you'll begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 4

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Early in the morning after breakfast, proceed directly to the crater floor for a full-day crater tour (lunch included). Ngorongoro Crater is usually open grassland and includes different kinds of animals such as leopards, buffalo, zebras, black rhinos, elephants, warthogs, gnus (wildebeests), Grant's and Thompson's gazelles, and larger population of lions. The only exception is the giraffe. They are not found in the crater because it’s difficult for them to walk due to the steepness of some sides of the crater. After enjoying a great game drive at Ngorongoro Crater, you will exit the park and drive back to Arusha for your evening flight back to Zanzibar.
