Here, we will spend many hours following and watching wild chimpanzees on foot under the direction of your knowledgeable local ranger guide, who intimately knows the troop members and will analyze their behavior.

Ultimate Gorilla Trekking and Batwa encounter

Ultimate Gorilla Trekking and Batwa encounter

Following breakfast, we will gather at the headquarters of the national park for a thorough briefing before setting out on foot to monitor mountain gorillas under local community guide direction.

Given that only one group is permitted to observe each gorilla family daily and group numbers are small, this unique encounter is a genuine luxury. Viewing permits are thus almost rarer than the gorillas! Though sometimes elusive, the professional local tracker guide usually finds the gorillas in an hour or more.

Every interaction with the gorillas is unique and has benefits; nonetheless, you will probably like the close-up view of adults tending to, grooming, and relaxing while the young romp and swing from vines in a wonderfully entertaining exhibition. You will get a hike certificate and drive to your resort for leisure on your return.
