Day 1

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will set off from Arusha toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Though the journey is long, the scenery along the way is breathtaking. You’ll ascend the crater highlands, pausing briefly at the rim to take in a mesmerizing view of Ngorongoro Crater—an unforgettable sight, especially for first-time visitors.

As you venture deeper into the Serengeti, you'll understand why its name translates to "endless plains" in the local language. Spanning 18,000 sq km (6,900 sq miles), the vast grasslands seem to stretch endlessly, challenging your sense of scale. This incredible ecosystem hosts the Great Migration, with over two million wildebeests, countless zebras, and a variety of antelopes, including impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. It is also a prime location for spotting large predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, we recommend waking up early to embark on a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active and the landscape is bathed in breathtaking morning light. This will be one of the most spectacular sunrises you’ll ever experience.

Following the game drive, we’ll return to camp for a well-earned brunch before heading toward Ngorongoro, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. Covering 102 square miles and enclosed by towering 2,000-foot walls, the crater serves as a natural sanctuary for nearly every species found in East Africa. It is one of the few places where you may spot the elusive black rhino. The crater boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa, featuring a river, swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, forests, and open plains. It is also home to some of the continent’s largest elephants, known for their impressive tusks, a result of the mineral-rich volcanic soil that nourishes the lush grasses they feed on.
