Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a Cari Local African Safaris representative will warmly welcome you and provide a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey. Depending on the arrival time, optional activities such as a city tour, cultural visit, or a short safari briefing with your guide can be arranged. Day 2

Tarangire National Park Safari

Tarangire National Park Safari

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park for an exciting day of wildlife viewing. The park, covering nearly 3,000 square kilometers, is famous for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse ecosystems. Named after the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source, the park is especially breathtaking during the dry season (June–November) when large concentrations of wildlife gather along the river. Home to thousands of elephants and hundreds of bird species, Tarangire offers a spectacular safari experience.

In the evening, you will check in at Marera Valley Lodge, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. Meals and drinking water are provided throughout the day.

Journey to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Serengeti National Park, enjoying a scenic drive and a picnic lunch along the way. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll witness the park’s incredible wildlife in its natural habitat.

Spanning 14,763 square kilometers, Serengeti is often called the world’s last great wildlife refuge, home to an estimated three million large animals. It is famous for the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other grazers traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning “endless plains,” perfectly describing its breathtaking landscapes.

After an adventurous day exploring the Serengeti, arrive at Safari Haven Serengeti Camp, where you’ll unwind in comfort. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the African sky before settling in for a restful overnight stay. Meals and drinking water will be provided throughout the day.

Start your morning with an exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast plains and diverse wildlife. The central Serengeti, particularly around Seronera, is home to several well-known lion prides, making it one of the best places to observe these majestic predators. During the dry season, lions shift their territories toward the west and north, offering excellent sightings in this region. The area is also one of Africa’s prime locations for spotting the elusive leopard, often seen resting in the branches of sausage trees along the Seronera River.

After lunch, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at the rim in time to take in the breathtaking views of this ancient volcanic caldera. In the evening, check in at Ngorongoro Ang'ata Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful night surrounded by the serene wilderness. After breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive, exploring its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. Often referred to as the "eighth Natural Wonder of the World," the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. Formed over 2 million years ago after a massive eruption, the crater's walls collapsed and the floor sank, creating a natural enclosure. The crater, with its 600-meter-tall walls, spans over 19 kilometers in width and is home to diverse ecosystems, including acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and vast grasslands, supporting over 30,000 animals.

After lunch, you'll drive back to Arusha and then head to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly greeted and transferred to Nungwi Beach Resort for your overnight stay, where you can unwind and enjoy the serene beach environment.

Today, you’ll explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit iconic landmarks like the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum, Dr. Livingston's House, and the Arab Fort, which offer a deep dive into Zanzibar’s rich heritage. Wander through the lively market, narrow alleys, and marvel at intricately carved doors, cathedrals, and mosques that define the town’s unique charm.

After lunch, you'll take a boat to Prison Island, home to the famous giant tortoises. You’ll have the chance to interact with them and snorkel in the island’s crystal-clear waters.

In the evening, head to Nungwi Beachand check in at Nungwi Beach Resort by Turacoor a relaxing overnight stay.
