Day 1-2
Etosha National Park-South
Etosha National Park-South
Your guide will pick you up either from the airport or your accommodation in Windhoek. You will drive straight to the southern part of Etosha National Park. You will embark on an afternoon game drive. Waterholes in this part of the park are further apart and are mainly artificial because it is relatively dry compared to the other parts. On the second day, you will do the morning and afternoon game drives. The game and birds found in this part of the park are typical of the savannah plains of southern Africa but include several species endemic to this western side of the continent, adjacent to the Namib Desert. The waterhole around the lodge is one of the most active ones at night. You'll watch herds of elephants, various antelopes, and rhinos making turns to drink water hierarchically. The waterhole is accessible 24 hours.

In this part, one will get artesian, contact, and water-level springs, implying an abundance of wildlife. Mammals include black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, African elephants, plains zebras, Southern giraffes, elands, gemsboks, African wild cats, spotted and brown hyenas, specials include damara dik-dik and black-faced impalas among other animals.
