Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, our personal safari guide will pick you up from your lodge in Arusha, and we will set off for Tarangire National Park. The journey takes us along a well-paved road through the scenic Maasai plains, dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you’ll see Maasai people in their vibrant attire, walking along the roadside, herding cattle, riding bicycles, and guiding donkey carts.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and diverse wildlife. From the open roof of our safari Jeep, we’ll explore the park’s seasonal swamps, vast savannahs, and the life-sustaining Tarangire River. Keep your eyes peeled for an array of animals, including zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes, among many others.

After an exciting day of wildlife encounters, we will head to a beautifully appointed lodge, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner in a charming restaurant, and retire for the night in a spacious and comfortable room.

Lake Manyara National Park

Wake up to a beautiful morning! After breakfast, we set off for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse gem located 120 km west of Arusha. This scenic park is named after its expansive shallow salt lake, which fluctuates with the seasons and serves as a sanctuary for thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. As we explore, keep an eye out for playful monkeys, elegant giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and majestic elephants. If luck is on our side, we may even spot lions resting in the trees. After an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch, we journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Arusha airport.
