1-Day Uganda White Water Rafting Jinja Tour

You’ll be picked up from your hotel/address in Kampala by your guide or driver. The journey to Jinja takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. As you leave the city behind, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Uganda’s countryside, including lush green landscapes, tea plantations, and small villages. Upon arrival in Jinja, you’ll head to the rafting starting point near the Nile River. Here, you’ll be greeted by your professional rafting guides, who will provide a comprehensive safety briefing.
The highlight of your day is the white water rafting experience on the Nile. The rafting session typically lasts 4–5 hours and covers approximately 30 kilometers of the river. You’ll tackle a series of thrilling rapids, ranging from Grade 3 to Grade 5.
After a day filled with adventure and exploration, it’s time to head back to Kampala. You’ll arrive back in Kampala in the early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location.
