Activities: If you have the time, desire, and energy, we can take a tour of the city to start discovering Tanzania; alternatively, relax at the lodge. Arusha National Park

Arusha - Arusha NP (45-minute transfer) Program: After breakfast, transfer to Arusha National Park for a photo safari and a walking safari. Activities: Photo safari and walking safari with the park ranger. Arusha Park is a mountainous park nestled between Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, offering a landscape completely different from other parks and is the only place where you can see black and white colobus monkeys. Flamingos populate Lake Momela and are particularly numerous in October. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Planet Lodge or Gold Crest Hotel.

Arusha – Tarangire (2-hour transfer) Program: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for wildlife viewing with a picnic lunch. Activities: Photo safari. Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, which divides it into two halves and is the only water source for animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its elephant herds and enormous baobab trees; there is much to see and explore. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge, Roika Tented Lodge, or Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.

Tarangire - Manyara (1-hour transfer) Program: Before breakfast, around 7 AM, a nature walk with a local guide in the Tarangire Conservation Area; after breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for wildlife viewing with a picnic lunch. Activities: Nature walk and photo safari. Lake Manyara National Park is one of the parks with the highest biodiversity in Tanzania; in just 330 km², there are five different ecosystems. The park is famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions and the large colony of baboons that inhabit the forest. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Program: Early morning breakfast and transfer to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe people and join them on a hunting expedition; then visit the Datoga tribe, known for their ironworking. If possible, we will also descend to Lake Eyasi and visit local farms, always accompanied by a local guide. Activities: Visit to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, hunting expedition with the bushmen, visit to the local village and Lake Eyasi. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Farm of Dreams Lodge or Kudu Lodge.

Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater (1.5-hour transfer) Program: After breakfast, embark on a photo safari in the Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife viewing with a picnic lunch. Activities: Photo safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to over 30,000 animals and a vast number of birds, which have settled in the area thanks to the lakes. Today, we will photograph various species, such as zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, and antelopes, along with predators like hyenas and lions. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

From Serengeti to Lake Natron (approximately 5 hours) Program: After breakfast, we will have our last photo safari before exiting Serengeti National Park and continuing toward Lake Natron along one of the most unpaved roads in Tanzania. Activities: Photo safari and walking activities at Lake Natron. Lake Natron is the most important breeding site for pink flamingos in the world. Ol Doinyo Lengai, the only active volcano in Africa, is considered a sacred mountain by the Maasai tribe. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Maasai Girafe Eco Lodge.

Arusha – Marangu (approximately 3-hour transfer) Program: After breakfast, we transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park for trekking with a local guide and a picnic lunch. We will start at the gate at 1830 meters near the village of Marangu and continue along the forest trail until reaching the Mandara Huts (2700 m). If we still have energy, we can continue to the nearby Maundi Crater before returning to the entrance gate. Activities: Trekking on Kilimanjaro. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Marangu Hotel (half board).
