Arrival to Kigali and Transfer to the Hotel

On arrival at Kigali international airport, you will meet your safari guide who will thereafter transfer you to Hotel for an overnight stay. You will be briefed on how the entire safari process will be conducted, before you decline for an overnight stay at Hotel Chez-Lando as you prepare for the great Safari experience.

Kigali city tour and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest

After having your breakfast in the hotel, a safari guide will be readily waiting to take you for a city tour in Kigali before being transferred to Nyungwe forest. During the city tour, you will visit the genocide memorial sites at Gisozi and the local craft markets for souvenirs. You will then proceed to Nyungwe forest one of the best destinations to visit in Rwanda famous for its diversity in wildlife. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Nyungwe Top Hill Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe

Early morning after breakfast, your safari guide will lead you to the tourist center for briefing where you will meet rangers ready to take you for an adventurous Chimpanzee tracking experience. You may also encounter different animals and bird species during the chimpanzee tracking experience. Later in the evening, an overnight stay will be at Nyungwe Top Hill Lodge.

Morning Canopy walks and transfer to Kigali

After breakfast, you will proceed into Nyungwe forest for a canopy walk in the rainforest hanging at about 60 meters. The canopy walk offers visitors a stunning and spectacular view of different animal and bird species that may be encountered. You will thereafter return to the lodge and prepare for a transfer back to Kigali for your outbound flight.
