This morning, you'll travel by road to Kenya’s northern frontier. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful, with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras and Beisa oryxes. You'll arrive in time for lunch check-in and later go for an afternoon game drive. By evening around 6 pm, you'll head back to your luxurious camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Dawn breaks in golden bands as you start your day in the bush by scanning the river from our tents to be able to possibly have a glimpse of animals that might be by the river banks quenching their morning thirst. Before the dew is off the grass, you’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. And so the day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in our cozy camp. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Samburu to Aberdares National Park

Samburu to Aberdares National Park

This morning, you'll depart Samburu and proceed south to The Ark Forest Lodge. Nestled in the foothills between Aberdares and Mount Kenya National Park, the lodge is famous for its high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and waterhole. Boasting a remarkable record of wildlife sightings from their floodlit waterholes and salt licks. Here, you will enjoy the finest in high-altitude wildlife viewing. After enjoying a delicious lunch, you'll head out and have a touch with nature at the Aberdares National Park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4

Aberdares to Amboseli National Park

Aberdares to Amboseli National Park

This morning, you'll depart our tree lodge and drive through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Masai community and famous for huge herds of elephants. A spectacular game run en route is planned. Following a delicious lunch, you'll set off for another spectacular game drive.

Amboseli is a big game country: Lion, cheetah, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffe. The afternoon game run is planned to introduce you to the intense beauty and drama that fill each day here. Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro with its breath taking view is one of the highlights at this park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 5

Amboseli National Park

This morning, you'll wake up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. You'll set off for a game drive immediately after breakfast. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from elephants to Giraffes to Baboons.

Midday finds you at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another afternoon game drive. Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai community. The warriors are famous and are proud nomadic people whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world. You can also choose to visit the Maasai villages. Later on, you'll enjoy their beautiful culture at an extra cost. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 6

Amboseli to Nairobi

After an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at the lodge, you'll return by road to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at a place of your choice, either a city hotel or the airport. This will mark the end of the 6-day safari with us, which we're very sure you will have enjoyed every bit of it.
