Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Reserve

We will pick you up from the hotel and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take photos of the historical escarpment. Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. You will have an introductory game drive on this day. This prepares you for the full-day game drive the next day.

The amazing wildlife experience continues. On the plains are large herds of herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism with large species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Your picnic lunch will be at the Mara River migration point.

After an early morning game drive in Masai Mara, you will go back to the camp for breakfast and leave for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will be arriving by lunch then proceed for an afternoon game drive. Freshen up and have enough rest as you prepare for an early morning the following day.
