After an early breakfast¸ you will be briefed by the guide about the 2 days’ safari. You will then set off from your hotel as you embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On your way you make a stopover at the equator for the equator experience and take photos if you please. Proceed to Mbarara town for lunch and continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the afternoon. Head for a brief nature walk to the local Batwa community and interact with them. The Batwa are also known as pygmies or Twa. They are one of the oldest indigenous people in Africa and are believed to be the first inhabitants of the equatorial forests of the region. They live in small huts made from sticks and grass Check out the curio shops¸ children school. You will take photos and proceed to the lodge for check-in¸ relaxation and overnight.

Gorilla trekking and transfer to kampala
Having an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head in the forest and then trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending to the movement of the gorillas. After finding the Gorillas in Bwindi¸ you will be given only 1 hour to enjoy these creatures¸ study them¸ take photos (without a flash) ¸ but with a 6meters distance. After the trek you may go back to your lodge to have lunch and rest. After proceed to Kampala. Your journey to Kampala will take approximately 8 hours.
