Day 1

Arrival to Uganda and transfer to the Hotel

This day marks the start of your Uganda safari experience. Upon arrival to the Pearl of Africa, you will meet our safari guide who will welcome you and thereafter transfer you to Airport Guest House for an overnight stay on Bed and a Breakfast Basis.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast you will transfer to Kibale National Park where you will then go west through lush plantations and verdant traditional homesteads to the park.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Tinka’s homestead for an African lunch cuisine; thereafter proceed to Bigodi wetlands for the bird-watching walk and the Tea Experience if time allows.

Day 3

After breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to the starting point of your chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National park, renowned for having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of it's 13 species is the chimpanzee, with Kibale Forest National park hosting over 1,450 of these endangered primates.

Kibale is also home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, along with other primates such as the black-and-white colobus, blue monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, and olive baboon, to name a few. You will enjoy a guided nature walk through the tropical rainforest in search of wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and many others With several stopovers en-route for refreshments and photography, this drive will give you an overview of Uganda’s country side as you proceed to the home of man’s closest.

Day 4

After breakfast in the lodge, you will have a morning community walk around Kibale forest. This walk will take you through the local homesteads, with several food-crop plantations. You will then hike to the beautiful crater lakes for the best views of the surrounding communities and the beautiful Rwenzori mountains ranges.
After the walk, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, the home to over half of the worlds remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas. Upon arrival here, overnight stay will be at Rushaga Gorilla camp.

Day 5

Gorilla tracking and Batwa cultural experience

Gorilla tracking and Batwa cultural experience

You will start this day with an early morning breakfast, and thereafter be transferred to the briefing area for the Gorilla experience. You will then be divided into groups depending on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track. The ranger guide will lead you through the forest searching for the gentle giants. Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will be given about an hour for interaction and taking as many pictures as possible; a rewarding experience not to be missed.
Later in the evening, you will visit the local Batwa communities for a cultural experience.

Day 6

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

This day you will prepare for a transfer to Lake Mburo national park where you will have a game viewing experience and the guided nature walks for a close-up experience with wildlife.

Upon arrival into the park, you will have sunset game drives in search for several animal species that reside in this park. Later in the evening, overnight stay will be at Eagles Nest Lodge.

Day 7

Nature walks and transfer to Entebbe

Nature walks and transfer to Entebbe

This will be your last day in the Pearl of Africa after encountering the chimpanzees, Gorillas and other animals and bird species. You will end your safari in a special way here at Lake Mburo national park.
You will depart early in the morning for a guided walking safari in the park for chances of meeting Giraffes, Kobs, Elands, Zebras, Buffaloes and many other species at a closer range. This is a perfect opportunity for photography with wildlife.
You will thereafter return to the lodge for refreshing and preparations before being transferred back to Entebbe. Upon arrival to Entebbe, you will meet our office representative for a short review of your experience and a hot lunch before proceeding to the airport for your outbound flight.
