After breakfast, go to Kibira National Park, where you’ll explore the Teza tea fields. After that, you should check out the Kiganda royal gardens, one of the historical sanctuaries that contains information on the Treaty signed by the Germans and King MweziGisabo, the traditional ruler during that colonial era. Proceed to the royal inauguration grounds, where historical political rulers such as MutagaMbikije and MweziGisabo had their clubs. This place offers a rare opportunity to stroll over the magnificent, well-maintained royal grounds of ancient Burundi. Travel to Gitega in the afternoon and stay at the Isango Hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll travel to the Gishora drum sanctuary, the Burundi National Museum, the Catholic Village of Mushasha, colonial era administrative buildings, the Coffee Factory, and the Catholic Village. The Gishora Drum is a significant cultural landmark in Burundi, specifically a drum sanctuary established by King Mwami Mwezi IV Gisabo Bikata Bijoga to celebrate a victory over a rebellious chief, it's a place where traditional drumming practices are preserved and taught, with the drums historically associated with royalty and important rituals like king enthronement and funerals.

Karera falls visit
Karera falls visit
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Rutana so you can see the breathtaking Karera waterfalls. From there, you’ll continue on to Makamba to see the “Agasimbo dancers,” who perform a dance native to the country’s southern regions, before arriving in Nyanza-Lac for the night.
