Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your adventure begins. The first stop is Arusha town for any last-minute purchases before setting off on safari. You will then journey to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes. Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, serving as the heart of an annual migration that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. In the late afternoon, you will head to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight camping experience.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Mto wa Mbu and embark on a scenic 6-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for approximately 20 minutes to take in the breathtaking panoramic views.

Upon arrival in Serengeti in the late afternoon, you will embark on an exciting game drive in the Seronera region, the heart of the park. As the sun sets over the vast savannah, you’ll have the chance to witness predators in action and experience the magic of the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will go on an early game drive seeing a lot of animals till afternoon. You will head to camp for lunch and packing doing a game drive while you exit the Serengeti heading to Simba Campsite (a 2-hour drive) near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend the crater on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater. After lunch, you will do a game drive and ascend the crater to the camp. You will pack for the trip to Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will go to Lake Manyara National Park famous for the large number of flamingoes in the lake and its tree-climbing lions (though they are rarely seen). You will do a game drive viewing plenty of birds, lucky enough you can spot these famous tree-climbing lions. You will visit the Hippo Pool for a close look at hippos and the hot spring all this while doing a game drive and viewing plenty of animals (buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, monkeys, etc.).
After the tour, you will head back to Arusha (your hotel in Arusha).
