Day 1

Arrival to Kigali and transfer to the Hotel

Upon arrival to Kigali international airport, you will meet our safari guide who will transfer you to the Hotel for an overnight stay (bed and breakfast basis). You will have a safari briefing, going through the itinerary and how the trip will be conducted.

Day 2

Kigali city tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Kigali city tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will start this day with the Kigali city tour where you will visit the Genocide memorial sites; several craft villages as well as the local markets. You will thereafter proceed for a transfer to Volcanoes National park, a home to the rare mountain Gorillas as well as other several primate species residing in the park. Upon arrival here, you will be transferred to mountain Gorilla View Lodge for an overnight stay (Bed and Breakfast basis).

Day 3

Golden Monkeys tracking and transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast in the lodge, your safari guide will transfer you to the briefing area in Volcanoes National park for the Golden monkeys tracking experience. Here, you will be allocated a ranger guide who will brief you, thereafter lead you into the forests in search for the Golden monkeys. Several other animals and bird species may be encountered during the experience.
After the tracking experience, you will proceed for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park (Uganda), a home to over half of the world’s remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas offering guests an excellent Gorilla tracking experience. Accommodation will be at Rushaga Gorilla camp.

Day 4

Gorilla tracking and Batwa Cultural Experience

Gorilla tracking and Batwa Cultural Experience

This day will be dedicated for the Gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi. After breakfast, you will depart from the lodge well equipped with your breakfast and ready to meet the Gorillas. Your safari guide will transfer you to the briefing area where you will meet the ranger guides who will brief you on how the entire safari process will be conducted.
You will thereafter enter the forests through the Gorilla trails, with chances of meeting many animal and bird species during the process. Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will have an hour taking as many pictures as possible.
Later in the evening, you will have a community tour for a cultural experience with the indigenous Batwa communities. Accommodation will be at Rushaga Gorilla camp.

Day 5

Ishasha sector, Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Bwindi, for Ishasha sector looking for the tree climbing lions. The remote woodland sector of Queen Elizabeth National park is one of the few places where you can meet the tree climbing lions. This sector also hosts several animal species that can be encountered during the game drives. Upon arrival here, you will check-in at Enjojo Lodge for lunch (Payable Directly) and in the afternoon, you will proceed to the Ishasha sector for sunset game drives, looking out for the tree climbing lions.

Game drives and Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel

Game drives and Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel

After breakfast in the lodge, you will be transferred to the northern ends of the park for game drives and a rewarding boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel. During the morning game drives, you may encounter lions, leopards, elephants, Buffaloes, hippos, several antelope species and a variety of bird species.
The rewarding afternoon boat experience gets you closer to a very high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, many bird species as well as many other animal species at the water banks. Accommodation will be at Bush Lodge.

This day you will prepare for a transfer to Kibale forest National park, a home to man’s closest relatives the chimpanzees as well as several other primate species. This park offers guests an excellent encounter with the chimpanzees, with chances of meeting about 12 other primate species.
Upon arrival to the park, you will check into the lodge and prepare for the afternoon chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale forests. Your safari guide will transfer you to the briefing area for orientation and thereafter enter the forests for the tracking experience. Accommodation will be at Kibale forest camp.

After breakfast, you will prepare for a transfer to Entebbe. Upon arrival here, you will meet our safari representative for a hot lunch and safari debrief with our office team, thereafter be transferred to Entebbe international airport for your outbound travel.
