Arrival in Nairobi & Transfer to Naivasha

Morning:
Arrive at Nairobi Airport (NBO).
Meet your guide and start your journey to Naivasha (about 1.5-2 hours drive).
Afternoon:
Check into your lodge or hotel in Naivasha.
Relax and enjoy the scenic views of Lake Naivasha.
Evening:
Take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot wildlife such as hippos, various bird species, and sometimes giraffes along the shore.
Optional: Visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and other animals.

Drive to Maasai Mara

Morning:
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara (approximately 5-6 hours drive).
The route will take you through beautiful landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley.
Afternoon:
Check-in at your Maasai Mara lodge or camp.
After a break and lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in the Mara Reserve.
Spot a variety of wildlife: lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and gazelles.
Evening:
Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Maasai Mara - Full Day Game Drive

Morning:
Early morning game drive, which is the best time for spotting big cats (lions, cheetahs, and leopards) in action.
Enjoy the golden light of sunrise over the plains as you explore the reserve.
Midday:
Return to the lodge for brunch or enjoy a packed breakfast in the wild.
If you’re staying in a luxury camp, you might get a chance to spot wildlife while relaxing by the pool or viewing deck.
Afternoon:
Afternoon game drive, exploring different sections of the Mara. You might visit the Mara River, where you could spot crocodiles and, during migration season, wildebeest crossing.
Evening:
Head back to your lodge for a sundowner and dinner.

Maasai Mara - Cultural Experience and Game Drive

Morning:
Start with a morning game drive to catch more wildlife sightings and early risers.
Midday:

You may also have an opportunity to buy handmade Maasai crafts and jewelry.
Afternoon:
After lunch, go on another game drive and explore the Mara’s different ecosystems. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration (if it's the migration period).
Evening:
Relax in your lodge or camp and enjoy a peaceful dinner under the African sky.

Maasai Mara - Optional Activities

Morning:
For something different, consider an optional early morning hot air balloon safari (extra cost). This gives you a bird’s-eye view of the Maasai Mara as the sun rises, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.
Afternoon:
Continue with a game drive in the Mara, exploring more remote areas, or relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.
Evening:
For those interested, you can also go for a night game drive (depending on lodge arrangements) to spot nocturnal animals like hyenas, aardvarks, or leopards.

Departure from Maasai Mara

Morning:

Evening:
Arrive in Nairobi, transfer to the airport, and catch your flight home or onward destination.
