Nairobi to Lake Elementaita

Our adventure begins after you have had breakfast in your hotel. We will pick you up from Nairobi and travel through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will make a stopover to capture moments with our professional photographer while viewing natural wonders. After about three hours, upon arriving at Lake Elementaita, it will be a good time for a lunch break.

You will go for an afternoon drive by the lakeside, mesmerising you by its beauty and vast flocks of flamingos, especially during the wet season. The park is home to over 400 bird species and is a key conservation area for black and white rhinos. You might also spot leopards in acacia trees and antelopes near the water.

Lake Elementaita

This morning, after you have had your breakfast, we will drive to the Mara Reserve, an extension to the Serengeti. It is well recognized for its wide collection known as the Big Five, not forgetting to include the Big Nine, including lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, cheetah, zebra, elephant, and hippo. Due to its richness of amazing flora and fauna, one can expect to spot these animals on the game drive after lunch. The reserve is an animal kingdom and likely the best place to venture into the ecosystem.

Masai Mara National Reserve

There will be two game drives, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Alternatively, you can opt for a full-day game drive, during which a packed lunch is provided. You can also go on an optional visit to a Maasai village, to experience their traditional culture (at an extra cost).

After a delightful breakfast in the heart of Masai Mara, we begin our journey back to Nairobi. As we continue, enjoy scenic views and perhaps a few more brief stopovers to take in the beauty of Kenya’s landscape before reaching the bustling city of Nairobi.
