Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, head to Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. From the panoramic viewpoint, you'll quickly see why it's so famous. The crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, and is a prime spot to spot the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a meal near the hippo pool, with a great view of the lake and hippos. In your open-roof 4x4 safari vehicle, you'll have the chance to photograph and observe predators like lions, leopards, and other animals such as wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo.

Day 4

Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in a single day is impossible, but our day trip gives you the opportunity to hike the first segment of the Marangu route through the lush rainforest. The adventure begins with a hotel pick-up from Arusha, followed by a drive to Marangu Gate for registration. From there, you’ll trek to Mandara Hut, the first stop on the full climb, where you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch. After a 30-45 minute rest, you'll descend back to the gate. Your driver will then return you to your hotel in Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
