Arriving in time for lunch at your luxury lodge, you'll then embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive. Encounter Tsavo’s famous red-dust elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras. Visit the magical Mzima Springs, home to crystal-clear waters, hippos, and crocodiles, and discover breathtaking volcanic landscapes and rugged terrain.

As the sun sets, retreat to the Salt Lick Safari Lodge, where you'll enjoy dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Exploring the Hidden Gems of Tsavo West

After breakfast, we'll embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in hand. One of the highlights of the day will be a visit to Roaring Rocks, named for the sound of lions roaring in the area. The views over Tsavo from the top of the 98m rock face are breathtaking. Similarly stunning views can be enjoyed from Poacher's Lookout, a hill in the center of the park. Another interesting stop is the Chaimu Crater Viewpoint, a volcano less than 200 years old, with its striking black coke composition. This area is known for sightings of klipspringer, a small and agile antelope whose Swahili name, “mbuzi mawe,” translates to "rock goat." In the southwest corner of Tsavo West National Park lies Lake Jipe, with the Kenyan-Tanzanian border running through it. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After breakfast, journey to the renowned Amboseli National Park, a land of open plains and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your tented camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive. One of the key highlights for this particular day includes witnessing the massive herds of elephants with Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak as a backdrop, exploring the Amboseli’s unique ecosystem of swamps, acacia woodlands, and ancient lakebeds, and Spot the abundant wildlife, including buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and big cats.

As night falls, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind at Little Amanya Camp, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
