Your adventure begins upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, depending on your arrival time.
If you arrive early, you can explore Entebbe town, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), or take a stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa.
Relax and acclimatize to the Ugandan atmosphere as you prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. The journey takes approximately 9 to 10 hours, but the breathtaking views of the Ugandan countryside, rolling hills, tea plantations, and local villages make it worthwhile.
En route, you will stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and a brief explanation of this unique geographical phenomenon.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening, nestled on the edge of the lush forest. Enjoy a warm dinner and relax as you prepare for the highlight of your safari gorilla trekking.

Day 3

Wake up early to the sounds of the forest and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Your guide will brief you on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking before you head to the park headquarters for registration and grouping.
Accompanied by experienced rangers, you will embark on a thrilling trek through the dense forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families. The terrain can be challenging, but the reward of encountering these gentle giants in their natural habitat is unparalleled.
Once you locate the gorilla family, you will spend one magical hour observing and photographing them as they go about their daily activities. This is a truly humbling and unforgettable experience.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some well-deserved rest. In the afternoon, you can opt for a guided nature walk, visit the local Batwa community to learn about their culture and traditions, or simply relax.

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic parks. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, offering stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains (the fabled "Mountains of the Moon") and the rolling savannah plains.
Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and various antelope species.
Check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a 40-kilometer waterway that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Accompanied by a guide, you will trek through the gorge in search of these fascinating creatures. The experience of observing chimpanzees in their natural habitat is both thrilling and educational.
After the trekking, return to your lodge for lunch and then begin your journey to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, passing through picturesque landscapes and rural villages.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening and enjoy the tranquil ambiance of Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with small islands.

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Lake Bunyonyi. You can take a canoe ride to visit some of the islands, go bird watching, or simply relax and enjoy the stunning views.
Lake Bunyonyi is known for its calm waters and rich biodiversity, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. You can also visit the local communities to learn about their way of life and traditions.
After lunch, begin your journey back to Entebbe. The drive takes approximately 8 to 9 hours, but you will make stops along the way for refreshments and to stretch your legs.
Arrive in Entebbe in the evening, where you will be transferred to your hotel if you have an extended stay.
