To ensure your comfort during the early morning departure of the tour, we recommend booking an overnight accommodation in Windhoek. Your driver will collect you and transfer you to the Namib Desert. Upon arrival, check in at Namib Desert Lodge and spend the early afternoon at leisure by the pool. In the evening, embark on a guided sundowner drive to marvel at the fossilized dunes, the red dunes adorning the plateau, and the countless other captivating wonders of the Namib Desert.

Guided Sossusvlei, Dune 45 & Deadvlei visit

Your guide will meet you at the reception early in the morning for your guided tour of Sossusvlei. The drive to the park gate will take approximately one hour. Upon entering the park, you will be astounded by the immense size of the dunes. You will have the opportunity to capture photographs at Dune 45 and ascend the dune. Your subsequent destination will be the renowned Deadvlei and Sossusvlei. You will return to the lodge around lunchtime and have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Today, you will have a free morning and afternoon. While you are free to relax by the pool or take a walk, please note that check-out is scheduled for 11:00 AM.

Following check-out, you will be transferred to Namib Dune Star Camp, which is situated in close proximity but atop a dune. You will spend the evening dining and sleeping under the captivating night sky.

Departure

After breakfast, you will be returned to the main lodge. Your transfer is scheduled for midday, allowing you ample time to utilize the lodge’s amenities. Subsequently, you will be returned to Windhoek, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. We strongly recommend extending your stay with us in Windhoek, should you require to connect with your onward travel arrangements.
