Journey to Udzungwa Mount ain National Par

Morning: Begin your adventure with an early pickup from either Dar es Salaam or Morogoro. Enjoy a scenic drive to the Udzungwa National Park’s main gate, where your adventure awaits.
Arrival: Meet your knowledgeable mountain guide, friendly porters, and park rangers at the entrance. Hiking: Set off on the Munihama trails for a 6-hour hike (12 km) through lush montane forests, where you may encounter diverse wildlife such as forest primates, elephants, and buffaloes.
Arrive at the Njia Panda Campsite, nestled by a fresh mountain stream. Unwind and soak in the sights and sounds of the forest.

Summit Mwanihana Peak (2500m)

Morning: After a hearty breakfast, embark on a challenging 14-kilometer trek to Mwanihana Peak. Experience the transition from miombo woodlands to pristine montane forests.
Summit Experience: Reach the summit and bask in the panoramic views of the Kilombero Valley—a truly rewarding experience for every hiker. Descent: Enjoy the descent back to Njia Panda Campsite, taking in the stunning surroundings along the way. Evening: Relish a well-deserved dinner under the stars, sharing stories of your day’s adventure with fellow hikers.

Descent and Relaxation at Udzungwa Hotel

Morning: Rise early for a serene 12-kilometer descent back to the park headquarters, where the morning light casts a golden hue on the forest.
Departure: Upon reaching the park gate, your driver will take you to the Udzungwa Hotel, where you can relax and rejuvenate after your hikes.
Afternoon: Depending on your energy levels, you can explore the local area or simply unwind at the hotel. After all activities you will be transfer direct to the camp near to mikumi national park for dinner and overstay.

Mikumi National Park game viewing

After breakfast, you will embark on a day game drive to observe animals in Mikumi National Park. One of Mikumi's key features is its large plain, making it easier to spot a variety of animals. The park is home to animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, and many others. Following the game drive, you will enjoy lunch at one of the picnic campsites in the park. After lunch, you will return to Camp Bastian Mikumi to relax for a bit. Around 4:00 pm, you will visit a Masai village and stay until late evening before driving back to dar es salaam for dinner and an overnight stay.
