Fly into Kihihi & transfer to Bwindi forest & Visit the local Batwa for a cultural Experience

Have an early breakfast at your hotel before our safari guide transfers you to Entebbe Airport for at 06:45 for check in. The scheduled flight will depart at 0745 and arriving Kisoro airstrip at 0850. The lodge vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge (1hr 30minutes drive). At the lodge, check – in. Take walk around the lodge after lunch to visit the Batwa /Pygmy community to see how they live.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, you will take off to experience a once in a lifetime adventure! You will encounter Bwindi’s endangered mountain gorillas. This is the absolute highlight for most people on tour in Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park boasts both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees - the only forest in Africa that can make this claim. It also hosts five other species of primates, 113 species of mammals, over 200 species of butterflies and 360 species of birds.

The gorillas you track belong to one of nine habituated family groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day. The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 8 hours. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience. After this unforgettable experience, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Fly out of Bwindi Impenetrable into Entebbe International Airport

After breakfast on your last day of 3 Day Flying Gorilla Trekking Safari to Bwindi National Park, transfer from the lodge at 0730 to the airstrip for the 0930 flight back to Entebbe International airport.

Arrival time will be 1155 hrs. Continue to the departures counter for your home bound international flight.
