Arrival in Uganda – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by your 4-Day Gorilla Habituation Experience Safari guide. Depending on your arrival time, you will proceed directly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via road. The journey to Bwindi offers breathtaking views of Uganda’s diverse landscapes, passing through rolling hills, rural villages, and lush forests.

Check-in at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature. Dinner will be served at the lodge, and your 4-Day Gorilla Habituation Experience Safari guide will provide a briefing on the upcoming gorilla habituation experience.

Gorilla Habituation Experience – Full-Day Trek

Wake up early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters. Upon arrival, meet with your 4-Day Gorilla Habituation Experience Safari guide and join a team of experienced trackers and researchers who will lead you on the gorilla habituation experience.

Receive a briefing on gorilla behavior, safety guidelines, and the objectives of the habituation process. Begin your trek into the dense forests of Bwindi in search of a gorilla family undergoing habituation.

The trek may take several hours as you navigate through rugged terrain, following the guidance of your expert trackers. Once you locate the gorilla family, spend the day observing their behavior, interactions, and daily routines under the supervision of researchers and trackers.

Use this time to take photographs, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of these incredible primates and their conservation.

After your gorilla habituation experience, return to your lodge and have the evening to your self.

Second Gorilla Habituation Experience

Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge before embarking on your second day of gorilla habituation. Head back to the park headquarters to meet you’re tracking team and set out into the forest once again.

Spend another day with the gorilla family, continuing your observation and documentation of their behavior. As you become more familiar with the gorillas, you may have the opportunity to witness unique interactions, such as feeding, grooming, and socializing.

Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the gorillas’ natural habitat, appreciating the complexity and beauty of this biodiverse ecosystem.

Return to the lodge in the late afternoon to relax and unwind after another rewarding day of gorilla habituation.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and begin your 4-Day Gorilla Habituation Experience Safari journey back to Entebbe. Take in the scenic vistas along the way, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the past few days.

Arrive in Entebbe and enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Entebbe International Airport.

Board your international flight home, carrying with you cherished memories of your gorilla habituation experience and the natural wonders of Uganda.
