Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Nairobi. You will meet your safari guide, who will brief you on the journey ahead before embarking on a scenic drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpment, making a brief stop at a viewpoint for a photo session. The journey continues through the rural countryside before arriving at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch.

After a short rest, you'll set out for an afternoon game drive in the Mara. This is an excellent introduction to the diverse wildlife of the reserve. You will have the opportunity to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and an array of antelope species. If you're lucky, you may even witness a predator in action! As the sun sets, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, relaxing under the African sky.

A Full Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll wake up early for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara, carrying a packed lunch to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. The reserve is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and an abundance of other wildlife. Depending on the season (July- October), you might witness the awe-inspiring Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures.

Your guide will take you to various hotspots, including the Mara River, where large hippo pods and Nile crocodiles lurk in the waters. Keep an eye out for cheetahs resting under acacia trees, leopards hiding in the tall grass, and large elephant herds moving gracefully across the plains. After breakfast, you'll depart Masai Mara and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours. You'll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short relaxation before setting out for an afternoon game drive in the park.

Lake Nakuru is renowned for its stunning landscapes and birdlife, including thousands of flamingos that create a pink hue along the shores. It is also home to the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, white and black rhinos, and an array of predators such as lions and leopards. As you explore, your guide will take you to Baboon Cliff, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the lake and surrounding wilderness. After an exciting game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll enjoy a final game drive in Lake Nakuru before departing for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation and teeming with birdlife and hippos. The drive takes about two hours, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp.

In the afternoon, you'll embark on a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, getting close views of hippos and various bird species, including fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. After the boat ride, you'll visit Crescent Island, where you can enjoy a guided nature walk among freely roaming wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and impalas. Unlike other parks, there are no predators here, making it a unique walking safari experience. After an adventurous day, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll depart Lake Naivasha for Amboseli National Park, a journey of about 5–6 hours with beautiful scenery along the way. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge and enjoy lunch while taking in the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa.

Later in the afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive across the park’s vast plains, where you will encounter large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. The park is also home to rich birdlife, including herons, pelicans, and secretary birds. As the sun sets, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, with the spectacular silhouette of Kilimanjaro in the background.

Exploring Amboseli National Park

You'll start your day with an early morning game drive, a prime time to witness Amboseli’s wildlife at its most active. The park’s famed elephants roam freely, and you may also spot hyenas returning from night hunts or cheetahs scouting for prey. The golden light of sunrise provides incredible photography opportunities, especially with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.

You'll return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation before heading out for a mid-morning or full-day game drive. You'll visit Observation Hill, which offers a panoramic view of the park and its swamps, where hippos and elephants cool off. You might also interact with the local Maasai community, learning about their fascinating culture, traditions, and way of life.

After a fulfilling day in Amboseli, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
