Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha
After breakfast proceed with your safari to Lake Naivasha, the highest and most stunning of the Rift Valley lakes at 1,910 meters above sea level. Its fresh waters are surrounded by lush papyrus, home to diverse bird species such as kingfishers and herons. With over 400 bird species recorded, it's a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Popular for sailing, fishing, and water sports, Lake Naivasha is also free of crocodiles due to its cool temperatures but hosts a number of hippos.
After lunch you will drive to Hell’s gate national park where you will dive into an adventure like no other. Walk through dramatic landscapes marked by towering cliffs, bubbling geysers, and hot springs. Keep an eye out for gazelles, zebras, and playful baboons that roam freely in this less-crowded park. Optionally, take a guided walk through the Ol Njorowa Gorge, a stunning chasm carved into the landscape by volcanic activity.
