We will pick you in your hotel room or any preferred location in Nairobi. Depart early to maximize your time in the park, arriving around mid-morning after a 4-5 hour drive.
Upon arrival, your guide will brief you on the park and the day's itinerary. You’ll have a chance to spot wildlife right from the park entrance.
Start your safari with a thrilling evening game drive, exploring Amboseli’s vast open plains. You’ll likely spot large herds of elephants, along with giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro makes the perfect setting for photographs.
You can then retire back to the camp for dinner and bonfires.

Traveling from Amboseli National Park to Naivasha Sawela Lodge involves a scenic drive through Kenya’s diverse landscapes. You will start by enjoying your last drive through Amboseli and enjoying the views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. As you drive through the Great Rift Valley, enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush valleys, and vast farmlands. Depending on the time of year, you may also see wildlife along the way, such as giraffes and gazelles grazing in the fields. Naivasha Sawela Lodge, located on the shores of Lake Naivasha. The day begins with an early breakfast and a pickup from your lodge or camp before the sun rises. This early start is crucial for spotting predators like lions and leopards while they’re still active from the night Head out into the Maasai Mara National Reserve for a game drive. The Mara’s expansive savannah is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino), along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birds. The early hours are perfect for catching sight of predators hunting, as well as the iconic herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, especially if you’re visiting during the Great Migration (July to October).
Around midday, you’ll set up for a picnic lunch in a designated area inside the park. Enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared lunch with beautiful views of the Mara. After lunch, take a short drive to Maasai village located near the reserve. The Maasai are one of Kenya’s most iconic tribes, known for their colorful attire and rich history.
