The day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a pickup from your lodge or camp before sunrise. This early start offers the best chance to spot predators like lions and leopards, who are still active after their night’s hunt. You'll set out on a thrilling game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, where the vast savannah is home to the “Big Five”—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino—along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birds. Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you’ll embark on your last game drive in the Mara before departing for Lake Nakuru. Upon arrival, your guide will provide a briefing on the itinerary before taking you on a game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is famous for its vibrant flocks of flamingos and its thriving populations of both black and white rhinos. It is also a birdwatchers’ paradise, with over 400 recorded species, including pelicans and eagles.

Beyond the rich birdlife, you'll also encounter a diverse range of wildlife, such as buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. With some luck, you may even spot the elusive leopard or a pride of lions. The park’s varied landscapes— ranging from grasslands and woodlands to the shimmering lake itself —offer a stunning backdrop for wildlife sightings.
