Journey to Volcanoes National Park

Your journey begins with a pickup from Kigali, Rwanda, leading you to the enchanting Volcanoes National Park, where the majestic mountain gorillas and playful golden monkeys reside. This national park, steeped in history, is among the oldest in Africa and serves as the final resting place of Dian Fossey. Dian Fossey was a pioneering primatologist who devoted her life to the protection and habituation of mountain gorillas.

The trek to the park spans roughly 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival, you can embark on a journey to the Gorilla Guardian Village, also known as the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, for an enriching cultural experience.
