You will be p[icked in your respective hotel in Nairobi City, or any other place you might prefer. Depart Nairobi early in the morning (around 7 AM) for the Maasai Mara, which is about a 5-6 hour drive (or you can opt for a 45-minute flight). Along the way, you'll pass through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with stunning views and opportunities for a quick stop for photos.
Upon arrival, check into your accommodation at the luxurius Zebra Plains. Afterward, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive, where you can spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and the occasional leopard. The Mara is also famous for the Great Migration (in peak season), where millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The day begins with an early breakfast and a pickup from your lodge or camp before the sun rises. This early start is perfect for spotting predators like lions and leopards, who are still active after the night’s hunt. You’ll head out into the Maasai Mara National Reserve for a thrilling game drive. The Mara’s vast savannah is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino), plus cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birds. The early hours are prime for spotting predators hunting and iconic herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, especially during the Great Migration (July to October).
