Strung out in the shadow of the Rift Valley escarpment, that great fracture in the earth’s surface that divides Africa in two, Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s more unusual parks.
Here you’ll certainly see the elephants for which the park is famous, and, if you’re really lucky, one of the park’s equally well-known tree-climbing lions.
You will have your packed lunch on a picnic site in the park before continuing with the game drive and then later on to your accommodation for the overnight stay.

Central Serengeti National Park - Seronera

There's nowhere in Tanzania where you have a better chance of seeing big cats than in the Central Serengeti.
You'll also see lots of other animals as you explore the savannah grasslands and silhouetted acacia trees with us.
This is the Serengeti's heartland and it is the most popular area of the park, but with very good reason.

As you drive from your lodge in Manyara, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands where you will enjoy the scenic views of the crater as you head to the Serengeti.
All along you will be on a game drive.

From high on a prime hilltop location in the central Serengeti, you’ll watch out over some of the best wildlife country anywhere in Africa at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 4 will still be at the Seronera area, a perfect time for you to go on a guided game drive in Central Serengeti National Park from the comfort of the lodge. No matter how many times you go, you'll never grow tired of the experience.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Early morning on this day after breakfast, you will start your game drive exiting the Serengeti towards Ngorongoro.
Get your camera and binoculars ready, sit back in our vehicle, and enjoy looking for the wildlife.

After arriving in Ngorongoro, you'll relax and generally take it easy to allow yourself to both process and recover from all of the excitement that you’ve enjoyed on your safari so far.
Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp is a tented bush camp on the crater rim. Here you'll enjoy the quiet forest location and sleep in good safari tents.
It's also close to the road that leads down to the crater floor, meaning you can be exploring not long after the first light.

The drive down into the crater will be just as special, taking you down onto the crater floor where nature rules and no human being may pass the night.
You'll spend the best part of a day exploring this remarkable place, seeing its lions, hyenas, black rhinos, elephants, flamingos and so much more. And when it comes time to leave, you'll keep looking back over your shoulder trying to hold these experiences in your memory.
