Day 2

Arusha - Arusha National Park

Arusha - Arusha National Park

After breakfast at your accommodations in Arusha, you’ll depart for Arusha National Park, a 45-minute drive away. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a two-hour guided walking tour accompanied by an armed ranger and enjoy a packed hot lunch in the afternoon before continuing with the game drive. Later, you’ll return to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.

Arusha National Park is one of the smallest parks in our circuit but is rich in wildlife, including African elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, and antelopes. It is also home to the rare black-and-white colobus monkey. The park features Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania and the third highest in Africa. Surrounding the park are the scenic Momela Lakes, a haven for pink flamingos, and the stunning landscapes of the Ngurdoto Crater.

Arusha National Park - Tarangire National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your accommodations in Arusha, your private driver-guide will pick you up and drive you directly to Tarangire National Park, an approximately two-hour journey.

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s largest parks, covering 2,600 square kilometers. It is best known for its vast elephant herds and iconic giant baobab trees. During the dry season, around 250,000 animals migrate into the park, creating a remarkable wildlife spectacle. Visitors can see herds of over 300 elephants, large groups of buffalo, and healthy populations of lions and leopards. The park has the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania during the dry season. It is also home to wild dogs, rare antelope species such as the gerenuk, and more than 550 bird species.

Day 4

After breakfast around 8:00am, you will drive directly to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you continue your journey around the crater and descend the other side, you’ll enjoy your free "African massage" on the bumpy road while passing through Maasai villages on your way to the Serengeti. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can take a short walk to a viewpoint offering spectacular views of the vast Serengeti plains.

A hot lunch will be served either at the gate or en route to the heart of the Serengeti, with a beautifully arranged setup by your guide in the bush. Serengeti National Park boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet. You will have unlimited game drives until the evening, at which point you will transfer to the camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast in the early morning, you will embark on a full-day game drive through the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard.

A hot lunch will be served inside the park at around 12:30 pm, accompanied by soft drinks and unlimited drinking water. You will have unlimited game drives until the evening, at which point you will transfer to the camp or lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast at your accommodations, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a game drive en route. Upon arrival, you will descend to the crater floor for a game drive. A packed lunch will be provided during the excursion. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, home to a dense wildlife population of approximately 30,000 animals within its 21-kilometer diameter. As you descend into the crater, you will find yourself surrounded by wildlife, offering an up-close safari experience. The crater is home to the “Big Five” and serves as a crucial breeding ground for the endangered black rhinoceros in Tanzania.

Karatu - Lake Manayara National Park

Karatu - Lake Manayara National Park

This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Your final destination on this epic safari! Manyara is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (this is one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboon and elephant in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the Park. after game back to arusha airport for drop off.

After breakfast at your accommodations, you’ll drive two hours to Materuni village. Upon arrival, you will meet with a local guide, who will accompany you on activities around the village. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure (according to your flight schedule)

Materuni Waterfall, located in Materuni village near Moshi, is the highest waterfall from Mount Kilimanjaro, standing at 100 meters. It forms a natural swimming pool at its base. On your walk to the waterfall, you will pass through coffee plantations and have the opportunity to interact with local farmers. After visiting the waterfall, you will head to a local family home, where you will enjoy a traditional lunch and learn about the coffee-making process, following each step until you prepare your own cup of freshly brewed coffee.
