It's not surprising that some of the aerial scenes from Out of Africa were shot here in Lake Nakuru National Park, with its fabulous views of the escarpment, lake and acacia forest. What also makes Lake Nakuru such a special place to visit is its populations of black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions and endangered Rothschild's giraffes. You might also see leopards, flamingos and many different kinds of birds too.

Tucked away in a corner far from all the other lodges and camps, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge has the best views of any place in Lake Nakuru National Park.
