Day 1
Nairobi National Park is known for its population of lions and cheetahs. While sightings of lions can’t be guaranteed, the park’s lions are often seen in the early morning or late afternoon.
The park is home to large herds of zebras and giraffes, which you can encounter while on a game drive. The park is a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 400 species of birds recorded in the area. Common sightings include vultures, eagles, herons, and various waterfowl along the park’s rivers and wetlands.
Other animals in the park include buffaloes, warthogs, impalas, and hyenas, along with smaller mammals such as baboons and monkeys.
One of the most unique features of the park is that you can enjoy a safari experience and still have a clear view of Nairobi’s skyline in the distance. This gives a sense of connection between nature and the modern city, making Nairobi National Park one of the most unique parks in the world.
