Lake Manyara National Park

Morning after breakfast, transfer by road to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day private game drive.

Around Lunchtime, join us for a picnic in Lake Manyara National Park, where you get to eat great food while surrounded by nature.

You'll continue with the game drive, a visit to the hotsprings and finally head out to the lodge for the night.

Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Tour & Lake Manyara Dhow Ride

You’ll gain fascinating insights into small-town Tanzania in Mto Wa Mbu, which is close to the gate for Lake Manyara National Park and at the foot of the Great Rift escarpment.

The morning after breakfast you'll have a Dhow Ride on Lake Manyara for about 2 hours then afterward you'll enjoy our excursion to visit and learn the Maasai culture in their village in Mto wa Mbu for about 1 hour.

Lunch will be served hot in the afternoon during this tour.

We'll close the day with a sounds-and-sights Village Tour in Mto wa Mbu to get the day-to-day life experiences of the people different from the wildlife that everybody else is focused on.

Full-Day Private Game Drive
As seen from the crater rim, this natural bowl, both vast and intimate, is one of Africa’s most beautiful natural features, stretching 19 green kilometers (12 miles) from one side to the other.
Down in the crater itself, you’ll explore an astonishingly rich, self-contained ecosystem that is protected by high crater walls. Here, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle within sight of elephants and black rhinos.
Your day spent here will reveal a surprising variety of habitats, from the Lereal Forest and salty Lake Magadi to the plains that rise and fall gently all across the valley floor.

Karatu to Kilimanjaro Int'l Airport

This marks the end of your safari in Tanzania.
We hope that you have enjoyed your trip and that you're already planning your next safari.

The morning after breakfast in Karatu, you'll be transferred by road to the airport via Arusha town ready for the departure and going back home.
Transfer time is 4 to 5 hours.
