On the second day, you have 2 options. If you're an early riser and keen to maximize the wildlife sightings, the 6:00 am game drive might be perfect, as the animals tend to be more active at dawn. Then you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast and have some downtime before heading out again for the afternoon game drive.
On the other hand, if you prefer a more leisurely start, the 7:30 a.m. departure with a full day of exploring, including a picnic lunch, offers a great way to soak in the sights without feeling rushed. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart from Amboseli and head towards Naivasha. The drive from Amboseli to Naivasha will offer some stunning landscapes as you transition from one region to another. You will arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. After lunch, you will depart for boat rides at Lake Naivasha. Later you can visit Crescent Island. Walking among the wildlife will be such a unique experience - there is something special about being able to get so close to the animals in such a tranquil setting at an extra cost. The birdlife around Lake Naivasha is also incredible, so definitely keep an eye out for the pelicans and fish eagles while you’re exploring.
After all of that, you'll have a peaceful evening back at the lodge to unwind and enjoy your dinner.

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss the day's schedule with your guide.
You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around the park at 6:30 am, carrying a picnic lunch. This will allow you to visit the Mara River, where the migration happens between July and October. Also, you will have a better chance to view wildlife all day and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
