After breakfast, we depart with packed lunch boxes and head towards Lake Natron, a breathtaking and otherworldly destination approximately 3.5 hours from Mto Wa Mbu or Manyara. Known for its highly alkaline waters and strikingly shallow depths averaging just one meter Lake Natron is a unique natural wonder.
Upon arrival, check into your campsite and take a short break before lacing up your walking shoes for an unforgettable guided walk. Led by a Maasai tribesman, explore the shores of Lake Natron, a crucial breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa. During the breeding season, from September to January, the lake hosts up to two million flamingos, creating a mesmerizing pink-hued spectacle against the dramatic landscape.

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense regions. Often called the Eighth Wonder of the World, it offers unparalleled game viewing, including the Big Five and the endangered black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a game drive through this breathtaking crater, where sightings of lions and Cape buffalo are common year-round. A packed lunch will be served at a scenic picnic spot before continuing to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6
Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara National Park is dominated by its vast lake, attracting large colonies of water birds, including pink flamingos, cormorants, pelicans, and storks. With around 400 bird species, it’s a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, often seen in the central open plains. During your safari, expect sightings of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and more.
At noon, depart the park and head to Arusha/JRO, concluding your safari adventure.
