Day 1

The adventure begins as we depart from Entebbe, a picturesque city located by the shores of Lake Victoria. Our first destination is the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a remarkable conservation area dedicated to protecting the endangered white rhino. As we drive through the lush Ugandan landscapes, we’ll take in the sights of vibrant flora and fauna, setting the tone for what’s to come. Upon arriving at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, we’ll embark on a guided walking safari to view the rhinos up close in their natural habitat. This unique experience allows us to learn about the significant conservation efforts in place to rehabilitate this species and the challenges they face.
After our rhino encounter, we will continue our journey to Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda's most stunning National Parks. As we travel, we’ll witness the changing landscapes from open savannahs to dense forests, each offering a glimpse of the diverse wildlife that inhabits this region.

Day 2

We shall wake up early in the morning and have our breakfast at 6:00 AM, then at 7:00 AM we arrive at the park entrance gate for check-in procedures, thereafter we officially start the safari in the park, we drive through different tracks in search of predators as they may disappear into their hideouts as the temperatures increase. Along these, expect to see other wildlife such as Elephants, buffaloes, kobs, Jackson hartebeests, lions, giraffes, leopards, and warthogs. At around 11:00 am, we return to the lodge for a short rest and wait for lunch.
After lunch, we shall depart for the Nile River boat cruise. The boat will take us to the base of the Falls where we shall hike to the top. These falls are the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Every second, the equivalent of 200 bathtubs full of water forces its way through a sharp gorge less than seven metres wide and plummets 43 metres down, the pressure is so great that the ground trembles around it.

Day 3

On the third day of our adventure, we set off early in the morning from Murchison Falls National Park. We will embark on a scenic 4-6 hour drive that takes us through the lush Ugandan countryside. As we make our way towards Kibale Forest National Park, we will have the chance to witness the vibrant local cultures, passing small villages and farmlands where residents are busy with their daily activities. Upon arrival, we will check in and refresh yourself before heading out for an evening walk in Bigodi wetland, another natural haven for bird watching with about 200 bird species including; Great Blue Turaco, Waxbills, papyrus gonolek, and weavers. Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is one of the popular destinations in Uganda and it is highly advised that anyone visiting Kibale Forest National Park should not miss the Bigodi Wetland adventure.
After the nature walk, you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

The day starts with an early breakfast, then after, the guide will drive you to the briefing centre where you'll receive a briefing from the ranger on what to expect, and how to behave around the chimps. Thereafter, we head to the forest!
Chimpanzee trekking typically lasts between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the specific location of the chimpanzees and the terrain of the area. The trek can be quite challenging, as it often involves navigating through dense forests and varying elevation, but the experience is truly rewarding. Then after tracking them, we return to the lodge and check out as we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
We arrive in Queen Elizabeth in time for lunch and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, we shall head to Kazinga Channel for a wildlife boat trip. Kazinga channel is a meeting point for most of the animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park in which some come to drink water and others are Channel dwellers.

Day 5

In the morning after a cup of tea or coffee, at 6:30 we drive to the park entrance gate and by 7:00 AM, we enter the park for a game drive. Our guide will take you through the most iconic spots in the park best known for game viewing experiences. Queen Elizabeth National Park is famed for its rich and diverse wildlife, offering the chance to spot magnificent wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, kobs and a variety of bird species.
Following the morning game drive, you will return to the hotel for rest and late breakfast. In the afternoon we will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a sanctuary that serves as the precious home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 6
Gorilla trekking experience

Today, you will have the opportunity to take part in a unique experience: mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After receiving a briefing from the park rangers, you will venture into the forest in small groups to search for and observe one of the habituated gorilla families. The duration and difficulty of the trek may vary depending on the location of the gorilla group. When you find them, you will have the chance to spend an unforgettable 1 hour in their presence, observing their behaviors and capturing memories with your camera. It's a truly remarkable and humbling experience to witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 7

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will commence your journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure. The scenic drive spans approximately 8-9 hours, allowing for stops to relish a leisurely lunch and soak in the breathtaking views along the way. Your knowledgeable guide will take every measure to ensure your timely arrival at the airport, bringing a fulfilling close to your remarkable 7-day Uganda safari experience.
