Upon your arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our experienced guide. After a quick introduction, you will embark on a scenic drive to Nyungwe National Park, one of Africa's oldest rainforests.
You will have lunch en route and then proceed to the booked accommodation in Nyungwe. After settling in, in the evening you will head out for an exciting canopy walk on the Nyungwe canopy bride. Thereafter you return for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After enjoying a cup of tea/coffee at 6:00 AM, you'll set off early with some packed meal for chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe Forest. Arrive at the briefing centre for safety briefing. Once the briefing is complete, accompanied by expert guides, you enter and trek through the forest searching for Chimpanzees. The trek typically lasts for a few hours before meeting them enjoying their natural home. You have an hour in their presence observing them as they engage in different activities. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the stunning flora and fauna of the forest.
Once the trekking experience is done, you will return to your accommodation for an early lunch before setting off for Volcanoes National Park, home to the majestic Mountain Gorillas. Upon arrival at your accommodation in Musanze near the park, check-in, and enjoy evening as you prepare for the excitement of the next day.

Today is dedicated to one of the most unforgettable experiences in Rwanda: gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park! After an early breakfast, we drive to the park headquarters for a briefing on the day's trek and the important conservation efforts in place to protect these incredible creatures.
Accompanied by experienced trackers and guides, you will venture into the heart of the rainforest, navigating through a variety of terrains as you seek out one of the mountain gorilla families. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing them as they go about their daily activities.
Once the trek is complete, you will return to your accommodation to enjoy your meal. In the afternoon, you can visit Iby'Iwacu cultural village to learn about Rwandan culture, including traditional dance performances, local crafts, and ways of life in the shadow of the volcanoes.

Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on an exciting adventure to track the elusive Golden Monkeys. These vibrant primates, native to the lush forests of the Volcanoes National Park, are known for their playful nature and stunning golden fur. As you venture into the forest, your knowledgeable guide will share interesting facts about the monkeys and the unique ecosystem they inhabit. After an experience observing these unique monkeys, you'll return to the trailhead to enjoy a packed lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery.
In the afternoon, you may enjoy outdoor activities such as a hike or nature walk to the stunning volcano summits. Choose from various trails that cater to different fitness levels, allowing you to soak in the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, varied flora, and perhaps spot more wildlife. After your breakfast, prepare for your journey back to Kigali. Enjoy the scenic drive as you reflect on your trekking experiences in the wilderness. Upon arrival in the vibrant capital city, you will embark on a guided city tour to explore the rich culture and history of Kigali. Visit notable sites such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you can pay your respects and learn about Rwanda's poignant past.
As the day progresses, you'll also have the chance to explore local markets and art galleries, and perhaps sample some delicious Rwandan cuisine at a local restaurant. Then in the evening, we will drive to the Airport for departure.
