Along with elephants, you're likely to encounter giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus, and a variety of antelopes and gazelles. Upon arrival, your guide will open the roof of the vehicle, offering an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing. After breakfast, you'll begin your journey towards the Rift Valley, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu, located in the cooler areas of the Crater Highlands. As you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll stop at a viewpoint for a brief look at the crater. Continuing on, you'll drive around the rim, eventually descending the other side, enjoying the "African massage" of the bumpy road, while passing through Maasai villages on your way to Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance, you’ll take a short walk to a viewpoint with stunning views of the Serengeti plains. Afterward, you’ll continue toward the central Seronera Area, where the park's wildlife thrives, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Enjoy lunch in the park, and later in the evening, you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park, with a picnic lunch at a scenic spot along the way. Depending on the time of year, you may have the incredible opportunity to witness the Great Migration, when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson gazelles make their way across the plains. During the short rainy season in October and November, these herds typically move from the Masai Mara in Kenya, through the northwestern Serengeti, toward the southern plains. After the long rainy season in April, May, and June, they begin their return journey through the western and northwestern Serengeti. However, due to the changing rainfall patterns, the animals' migration routes and timing may vary. Your guide will do their best to track down the herds and ensure you enjoy the best viewing spots in the park.

Following lunch, you’ll enjoy a game drive within the crater before ascending back to camp. Afterward, you'll pack up and head toward Arusha where you will be dropped off for your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/Lodge of your choice.
