Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your Safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation, and you'll begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which serves as the region's only water source for wildlife during the dry season, earning it the nickname "river of warthogs." Known for its large elephant herds, the park also offers sightings of giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals attract predators like lions and leopards, creating exciting opportunities for wildlife viewing. Tarangire is also renowned for its diverse bird species, with more breeding species found here than anywhere else on Earth. You’ll also encounter the towering ancient Baobab trees, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old.
Lunch will be enjoyed at Matete a picnic site within the park. After the game drive, you'll continue on to your accommodation in Karatu.

The Serengeti is nothing short of breathtaking. Renowned for its vast open grasslands, it offers exceptional opportunities to spot wildlife. The migration occurs year-round, but knowing the best locations to observe it at different times is key.
Beyond the incredible landscapes, the Serengeti also provides ample chances to witness predators in action, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Experiencing this extraordinary ecosystem is truly life changing.

This unique destination offers contrasts on every level: it is both one of Africa's narrowest parks and home to the dramatic Great Rift Escarpment, which looms over the western edge of Lake Manyara. The park's centerpiece is its namesake—a shallow salt lake that fluctuates with the seasons, attracting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and more than 500 other bird species.
In the park's dense evergreen forest, you might spot baboons and elephants, and keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions that have made Lake Manyara legendary.
