Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel, and after introductions with your guide, chef, and fellow travelers, we’ll embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes. The park is especially famous for its ancient baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering unique opportunities to observe their family interactions.
Our game drive will follow reported sightings, focusing on predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which are more elusive, while herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are abundant throughout the park.
We’ll stop for lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy stunning views of the river and nearby wildlife. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and baboons trying to snag your lunch, but there’s no need to worry!
