Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, playing a vital role in an annual migration that attracts thousands of elephants, wildebeest, and zebras.

After breakfast, your journey continues to the legendary Serengeti National Park. You'll travel through the picturesque farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending from the highlands into the expansive plains of the Serengeti. As you enter the heart of wild Africa, the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti stretch out before you.

You’ll make your way to the Seronera area, known for its rich wildlife. The Seronera River, a crucial water source, attracts a diverse range of animals, giving you an authentic glimpse into the Serengeti’s vibrant ecosystem. Arriving just in time for lunch, you’ll refuel before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive.

As the day winds down, you’ll return to Matawi Serengeti Camp for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll descend over 600 meters (1,970 feet) into the Ngorongoro Crater, entering a vibrant world teeming with wildlife. The crater's reliable water supply and lush vegetation create a sanctuary for a diverse range of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and the majestic African elephants. This area is also renowned for its high concentration of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards, making it essential to keep a keen eye out for these fascinating creatures.

As you explore, you’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern part of the crater. This picturesque spot is home to flocks of flamingos, hippos, and various water birds, offering a serene and captivating wildlife experience.

After check-out and an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a full day of game drives at Lake Manyara National Park, armed with a packed lunch. Although compact at 205 square miles, the park is celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes, featuring lush acacia forests, towering fig and mahogany trees, and vibrant populations of baboons and blue monkeys.

Around midday, you’ll take a break for lunch at a picturesque picnic spot before resuming your exploration.

As the sun sets, you’ll exit the park and head back to Arusha and get ready for trip to Materuni waterfall.
