Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to your guide and chef before heading to Tarangire National Park, a 2-hour drive away. The park is famous for its diverse landscapes, including the iconic baobab trees and the largest elephant population in Tanzania, offering a unique chance to observe elephant families interacting.

You'll go on a game drive, focusing on areas with recent animal sightings. While predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be harder to spot, you'll easily see herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras.

Enjoy a scenic lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can relax and watch wildlife. Just keep an eye on the cheeky monkeys and baboons that might try to snatch your food.

After the tour, you’ll head to your lodge in Mto Wa Mbu for the night.

Day 2

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll begin your 5-hour drive from Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti, including stops along the way as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti, covering 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq mi), is famous for the incredible wildebeest and zebra migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras form a unique partnership to survive.

Your main focus will be the Seronera region, the heart of the Serengeti.

You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, with time for lunch before heading out on a game drive in Seronera. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset as you observe a wide variety of wildlife, with a chance to witness predators hunting or feeding. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day, you'll venture through the different regions of the Serengeti—whether it's the north, south, east, or west—guided by the movement of wildlife. After an early breakfast, you'll head out for a morning game drive. Following lunch, your adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, Extending into the evening, before you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Note: Keep an eye out, as wildlife is sometimes spotted around the lodge as well.
