Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast (around 6:30 AM). Your Guide will meet you and give you a short briefing before setting off on a scenic 7-hour drive to the world-famous Serengeti.

The journey takes you through the rolling plains and villages of northern Tanzania, passing Mto wa Mbu and the stunning highlands of the Ngorongoro Area. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking landscapes and spot wildlife as you drive past the Ngorongoro Crater rim. A stop at Naabi Hill Gate, the official entrance to the Serengeti, allows for a short break before venturing into the vast golden plains.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, tracking the park’s incredible wildlife—lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, wildebeest and zebras. As the sun sets, head to your campsite, where dinner awaits. Spend the night in a comfortable tent, falling asleep to the sounds of the wild, preparing for more thrilling adventures ahead.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

On the second day After breakfast at camp, embark on an early sunrise game drive through the Serengeti, where you’ll encounter lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action, with herds of wildebeest and giraffes grazing in the distance. Return to camp for a short rest before continuing the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Around lunchtime, stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot, soaking in the stunning views and wildlife around you. Continue your drive towards Ngorongoro, with more chances to spot wildlife along the way.

Arriving in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area by late-afternoon, set up camp on the crater rim, where the cool mountain air and peaceful atmosphere await. In the evening, enjoy a hearty dinner around the campfire, reflecting on the day’s adventures. Spend the night under the stars, ready for the exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater the next day.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha

After breakfast at camp, head out early for a thrilling descent into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and wildebeest, all within this natural amphitheater. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, with opportunities to spot predators and herbivores in their natural habitat.

Around lunchtime, enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery. Afterward, continue your exploration, taking in the stunning views of the crater rim and the rich wildlife.

By late afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha, with the drive offering one last chance to enjoy the landscapes of northern Tanzania. Arrive in Arusha by evening, where you’ll conclude your unforgettable safari adventure, filled with memories of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Await the next day highlight.
