Arusha to Tarangire National Park

At the airport you will be warmly welcomed by our Safari representative, who will drive you strait to Tarangire National Park. This vast park spans 2,600 square kilometers and is renowned for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. During the dry season, it hosts a mini-wildlife migration with around 250,000 animals entering the park.

Explore the park and witness over 300-strong herds of elephants, big groups of buffalo, and healthy populations of lions and leopards. During the dry season, Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania. Look out for wild dogs, rare antelopes like gerenuk, and over 550 bird species year-round.

Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch inside the park amidst the stunning scenery. After lunch, continue game viewing to capture more unforgettable wildlife moments. As the day concludes, drive to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay, ready for more adventures.

Transfer to Ngorongoro crater
