Arrive in Serengeti

Upon arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, guests will begin a guided game drive through the Serengeti. Along the way, they’ll have the opportunity to spot wildlife and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the park. If the timing is right, they may witness the dramatic migration river crossing, where herds of wildebeest brave the dangerous waters filled with crocodiles. Once at the camp, they can unwind before heading out for a sunset game drive, offering more chances to observe the Great Migration. The evening will conclude with a delicious dinner and a restful night under the African sky.

Great Migration Safari Experience

After breakfast, you’ll set out on a full-day game drive, diving deeper into the Great Migration. You may witness dramatic river crossings where herds brave dangerous waters filled with crocodiles. Along the way, you’ll also spot predators such as lions and cheetahs hunting in the open savannah. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, and the safari will continue throughout the day. In the late afternoon, you will head to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

For a more immersive experience, you may opt for an evening game drive at an additional cost. This is a great opportunity to witness nocturnal wildlife activity and predators preparing for their night hunts. If interested, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Serengeti Safari Experience

On this day, you’ll enjoy a guided game drive to the central Serengeti, a region rich in wildlife. This area provides more opportunities to witness the Great Migration and spot predators like lions and cheetahs. Known for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife, the central Serengeti offers a true Serengeti experience. After the morning game drive, you’ll return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll have another game drive to explore even more of the park’s natural wonders. Optionally, you can take a scenic hot air balloon safari (not included in the price) for a bird’s-eye view of the migration and landscapes below.

Morning Safari & Flight Back to Zanzibar

On your final day, wake up early for a morning game drive to explore the Serengeti one last time. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, concluding your safari adventure. You’ll have the afternoon to relax on Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches or continue with your travel plans.
